Fire Protection wins Fire Safety System of the year 2007

Fire Protection has won the Fire Safety Installer of the Year 2007 for its passive fire protection systems at the Fire Industry Awards, at the NEC in Birmingham, hosted by the BBC's Jeremy Vine.

Sponsored by the Warrington Fire Research Approval Scheme for Fire Systems (FIRAS), the Fire Industry Awards are widely regarded as the industry's premier event, acknowledging and celebrating excellence in fire safety engineering, product design & innovation and fire and rescue practice.

The judges were looking for successful installations, customer satisfaction, commitment to staff training and third party accreditation.

Flamebar BW11 is pre-eminent among FPL's portfolio of passive fire protection products. The system has exhibited outstanding performance when tested under furnace conditions, meets all relevant British Standards and is entirely suitable for situations where up to four hours fire protection is required.
